    seadoo 185 driveshaft bellow hows it work? help needed again please

    hi guys i thought i sorted my driveshaft problem !!!! but i didnt!!! i put my ski in the water today and i had power then all of a sudden i lost power!!!! i the problem is the driveshaft pops in and out the impeller its not the mounts but i have been told it could only be the bellow? can someone plz tell me how it works? as soon as i put power down it moves away from impeller then cathches again can some one please help me shine the light on this please

    How you figure that it pulles out of the impeller? You shure that is not cavitating?

    no it completely stops i literaly pull away and i can here it pop out from impeller?? then i lose drive what could it be?

    Sounds like your drive shaft splines/impeller splines are stripped..

    Well as far as i no its fine could it be the pump?

    do you operate in salt water or fresh? Spline damage is very common on the 4 techs that run in the salt.

    Both but one minute its ok the next it pops out???? Im gonna pull thr shaft and see but i dont think its the shaft? Its as if something is moving?

    Before my drive shaft stripped completely, I had a similar situation. It would take a lot of effort to get up on the plane, as if it were cavitating. However, I think this may have been due to the splines being damaged and allowing the drive shaft to free spin in the impeller.
    You can be sure that if anything is "popping in and out" while rotating even at idle, damage is being done to your drive shaft and impeller. Inspect them thoroughly.
