Just saying hello.
I live in Walker county, AL I'm only 15 minutes form the boat launch too smith lake here. ABout 5 hours to the beach.
I was tempting for awhile on a new toy. I wanted something fast and fun. I have a Yamaha stryker cruiser and was going to by a r1. I've layed down my last two cbrs because of people pulling out in front of me. I use to build ls1 cars but got burnt out on it.
I picked up a 2010 ultra 260x for 7500 bucks. Has 29 hours on it. So far I'm loving it, still getting use to it.
Love the site maybe I can meet some people nearby to set up rides.

To the both of you guys: Welcome to the 'hulk. As it is, I've got a few trails in each of your states, maybe you can add to the list. New trails are being added every month...

Thanks for the heads-up Gator. But it appears that the only "trail" for NY is around Manhattan and Long Island. I'm 20 miles north of Syracuse on Onieda Lake. My goal next year is to trailer the new GTX to all of the Finger Lakes and ride each one of them, getting out on some big water and cruising Lake Ontario and spending several days around the Thousand Islands.

Yes... Lots of water up here. Many places to ride and are easily accessible. But, many of the smaller lakes are "regulated". Speed limits, noise reg's, no wake zones and even no-wake-lake's. Especially in the Adirondack's. I suppose you'll get that no matter were ya go.....
I've bookmarked the "Trail page" and look forward to contributing.
