How to test starter/kill switch ??

My 701 Raider was running and acting fine, let it sit for a month and now Push the starter button and nothing. Battery is charged , motor spins freely , etc. After searching , it appears starter solenoids and starter switches go bad on these things. There appears to be four wires from the switch , how do I test it?

    Any help would be appreciated,

    Jonathan

How to test starter/kill switch ??

Pm me your email and I will email you a shop manual. I can't pull it up right now but I can forward it. One way to test the starter solenoid is disconnect the brown and black wires from the solenoid and see if it clicks. If you leave the big power cable on it while doing this it try to turn the engine over....that means good solenoid so bad switch. The shop manual has a specific test for the switch though.
