My 4inch fizzle is so rusted 50%+ less air!

I went to the coast for one week then a week later mysteriously lost 200rpm looking today the screen is completely clogged with rust Hope that's the problem I been searching for! I assumed it was a stainless mesh guess not! I noticed the whining of the supercharger wasn't near as load as use to be guess this was what it couldn't suck like it wanted to!

Emailed FIZZLE they are rushing me a new filter out today! GREAT Customer service! I wouldn't recommend for salt water application but fresh water For SURE! May still mist it down with fluid film just to be safe tho

My RPMs are down and my 4"fizzle is rusted also. Like you , I thought it was stainless. I'll have to pull it off and seeif the air flow is restricted.

Yes emailed them and sent pictures but guess hear from them tomorrow. Thought about putting a k&n on it but guess mesh will be better air flow than a filter

This is exactly what I do now. My filter didn't last too long before it rusted. It felt noticeably better after removing it.

same deal with mine from salt water use, threw it out and started using a nylon/rubber based one twice the size too...which has since been swapped out for a rear air
