Kawaskai 300x Stock Spark Plugs - NGK PMR9B

NGK PMR9B - Stock (expensive and hard to come by, but I found absolutely nothing wrong with this plug)

NGK CR9EK - Used for 10 hours with no problem and they are available at most automotive stores. If you purchased the NGK CR9EK they come without end caps a so I purchased a set of (NGK BR8ES) for the end caps only (they are just a cheap and NGK plug that has removable end caps).

NGK CR9EIX Iridium - Also a good substitute though I personally never tried them yet. Credit - Chris288

Brisk AR10ZS Premium - DO NOT USE THESE PLUGS!!!

As you can see in the photos below the ceramic center inside the Brisk AR10ZS Premium Plug came loose into cylinder 4. Would NOT Recommend These Plugs For The 300x!

Sold on eBay by magnum_tuning_inc listed as "PERFORMANCE SPARK PLUG Kawasaki Ultra 300X LX JT1500C7F"

No thanks to me, that info for the cr9eix has been aroudn since I had my 07 ultra 250, it would burn up a set of plugs every 25 hrs. whether they were the stock pmr9 for 18 bucks a plug or the cr9eix for 7 bucks a plug. I have 80 hrs. on my 300 and it still has the factory PMR9's in it and factory exhaust filter. So I think the filter is most definitely doing its job keeping the plugs alive.

That is a good point about the 300x factory exhaust filter doing a good job... I only change the plugs for my own peace of mind... kind of the same way I change the oil every 7 to 10 hours.

changing oil 7 to 10 hours is a total waste of money and your time ,,,,,,same with your plugs

This thread is real old but very useful. Used the ngk cr9ek with end caps from the br8es on my 310r and its running great. Advanced auto parts had them and they are very cheap. Bump!
