Question Wear Ring Housing Corrosion - SBT Part

Is this normal for 3 months of use on aftermarket (SBT) wear ring housing? I clean ski extremely well. I am searching for my mystery leak, and saw this corrosion. I contacted SBT, waiting for their reply.

I was told the 1200s had anodes, but 1300s did not. Uh oh...imagine that, was I given misinformation? LOL Ok, noob question...where are they on stock ski?

I have heard alot of mixed reviews on SBT motors, but their parts have gotten decent reviews that i have seen. I emailed them a pic and explanation. Hoping they will do something. I just don't understand how the rest of the jet pump assembly which is 2004 still looks pretty new, while this 4 month old part looks this bad. I know it's not same grade product as OEM, but still.

Who did you email the pic to? We would like to look into this. Please call when you have a minute. 877-330-0231.

    Thanks,

I called this morning and spoke to a lady and she didn't have anything to say other than bring it by for SBT tech to look at. Which I will gladly do once I remove the assembly this week. I'm just confused how it could corrode this badly, this fast. Yes, i use it in salt water, but I clean it VERY well each time within an hour of putting on the trailer.

I emailed it through Facebook. This is how I had been chatting with SBT for a few months about all sorts of things.
