Question 2010 SeaDoo GTX ECU confused by install of new instrument cluster??

I purchased a Sea Doo LCD Gauge 278002270 that is a replacement for the 2010 original instrument cluster.
When I try to start the ski it gives me "T" codes. Is this telling me I need to take it to the dealer and get it synchronized/calibrated? I also get a P1513 fault code (Exterior temperature circuit low voltage)? Another indication of not having a synchronized/calibrated ECU?Cluster?

If I disconnect the cluster the ski runs just fine but it would be too risky for me to ride that way.

where in NJ are you located?
A dealer could mate the cluster or I can depending on where you live

The cluster comes blank and needs to be flashed with BUDs for the model its installed on.

affirming what the previous two posts said... the cluster has to be mated via BUDS to the ecu for it to work

    Chris:
I am about a mile from Lacey Power Sports (Rt 9) in Lacey/Lanoka Harbor.
I have used with them in the past and the owner, also Chris, is a good knowledgable guy.
Let me know if I am close enough and what it would cost me for a home visit/cluster mate.
I have no problem with finding another service orgsnization for my SeaDoo.

I'm fairly certain Chris can perform this for you, have you called him yet?

Cluster has to be married to the ECU for the ski to run. For the cluster to function properly the correct flash code for that ski has to be loaded onto the cluster. So there is 2 parts to the process.

Dennis can this process be accomplished with the CanDoo for a 2012 P-X 260? I have not messed with my CanDoo in a while.

No I have not called Lacey Powersports. I wanted to post it and see if there was a non-BUDS solution.
Apparently not, so now I am waiting to see if you want to do it. You can send me an email with a yes or no as to your wanting to do it at [email protected] What will it cost me?

As far as I know the 2012 cluster has the flash pre-loaded and is ready to install. You just need to marry it to the ECU. This can be done with candoo. If it needs to be married, there will be a marry button that shows on the cluster tab.
