XPLTD 2000 revs to 3500 not more
After I made a rebuild to engine I run the ski for about 1,5 gas tanks with no issues, everything was fine when a sudden the ski didn't want to go over 3500 rpm.
I checked the carbs, cleaned the little filters in the carbs( they where dirty a bit) with no result.
The compression on cold engine is about 8 bar. Starts Fine, runs fine till 3500 .
Is it something with the fuel ( hi jetting) like the fuel value clogged ? Should I check the fuel system in first place?
The ski has the grey hose.
Thanks for any input.
I can add that it revs normally on the trailer, the problem is in water.

Water leak - where?
The plugs where changed, as I wrote the problem is in water only as it revs normally on the trailer.
Is it possible that it has poor fuel and it runns to lean?

For safety matters replace the gray lines as they tend to create some gooo inside cloggin the carbs. Have you checked the fuel filter and the fuel selector valve? Like mongoose says check for any water leaks (put it on the water still on the trailer and start it up) look if you can notice any water leak or smoke inside the hull.
Also did the rave valves were clean on the rebuild? is the selenoid working?
You can feel if the two cylinders are working by touching the cyls and feel the temp on them . If one is colder there might be a carb that still needs more cleaning or adjust.
What size are the jets and neadle valve?
