what should I pay to have carbs completely rebuilt on my 2001 1200XLT
If I bring my ski to a mechanic and have him rebuild the carbs what should I expect to pay with labor included (not bringing the carbs to him) thanks

Best money you can spend IMO if you're not 100% confident doing it yourself.

Read Oside Bill's posts re: carbs in how-to section. Your carbs have tamper-proof caps which must be drilled out, accelerator pump needs to be removed or disabled. Needle & seat and jets all need to be changed out. Little more work than a rebuild but you will love the results.
Send them to Bill if you're not comfortable doing it yourself.
