Reducing front "trunk" rattle on 2010 FZS

Honestly it's the only "problem" I've had so far with my waverunners. My FZS front trunk lid is rattling and it's annoying. If I put my hand on it while riding it quiets down. Are there any adjustments that can be made or any fixes? I'm not mechanical at all so a detailed description or pictures would be a huge help. Thanks!

Try adding a washer to the hood hinge.

This was my very first MOD. I got one of those cushion things that go on the bottom of a piece of furniture so it does not scratch your floors. It works like a champ.

Thanks, is that just attached with adhesive? If so, any problems with the glue melting off in the summer heat?

They have a peel-off backing like a decal. You can get them at Home Depot, Wal Mart, or just about any hardware or home improvement store.

I know my gauges were rattling some so I used double sided tape under them and it stopped. Sure its not that?

I thought it was the trunk but maybe it's the gauges. Looks like a cheap fix either way so I'll just try both. Thanks everyone for the advice.

All the Yamis do it. Unbelievable but true. I did the same as Carlos. Put a package of them all over the inside of the forward hatch where they come close to touching but out of site. Do under the mirrors assembly too. Fixes most of it.
