    Mikuni needle arm adjustment

Seems like I read somewhere here that you bent the side of the arm that goes to the needle valve to adjust it, but I can't find the info now.

So, with the small rod in the middle of it, which side of the needle arm do you bend for adjustment...the side that goes to the needle or the other side that hits the center of the diaphragm?

The manual says it needs to flush to .2 mm above the carb body with the other side of the arm resting on the needle. It's on here but I can't seem to find it either.

Thanks a bunch for the replies, I appreciate them.

I should have asked the question better...I know from OsideBills fantastic sticky how to use the razor blade across the carb body to get the correct height adjustment. I just didn't know for sure which half of the arm was the correct half to bend to make the adjustment. Heck, it may not even make a difference...but I thought I read that it was the half of the arm that lifted the needle.

My natural inclination would have been to simply raise or lower the back half of the arm to make the adjustment. Just want to get it right...the first time around.

    Mikuni needle arm adjustment

While holding a finger on the needle side, push or pull with your finger on the spring side to adjust.

    Thanks man...I appreciate ya!!!

Exactly what I was going to do, before I started over-thinking it.

Now I feel like a dope for making a big deal out of nothing.
