Recently purchased a Sea Doo Challenger 180 from a dealer. Had the boat on the water for about 20 secs before the engine choked. Luckily it started right up, only to cut off again a few hundred yards from the dock. Got towed back, and parked it back at the dealer the same day.

Word from service dept is the "engine is full of water." Trying to figure out what happened I got the service history, looks like new sparks, oil change, supercharger rebuild, and new wear ring. I made the mistake of not having them water test it before I took it home, but could anything during the service have caused a problem?

Appreciate any help, very frustrated...
