    seadoo 4tec drive shaft. tools reqired to remove?

    do i need the tools to remove the drikve shaft, or can i leave the jetpump in to i can remove the 'c' clip next to catbon seal? like on a 2 stroke 951 motor?

    also do i need tools on refit? like the half round tool that sits under pto?

    There is a tool designed for the job, but it is not a requirement. I haven't used a special tool in the past when removing my driveshaft. Do a search and you will find the method you can use.
