    Stock RXT with high rev

    Hey folks...

I took the ski out over the past weekend and noticed it runs at 8100 or 8150 rpm at full throttle. I know that isn't right... The ski is stock except for putting water wetter coolant additive and running 93+ gas. It was about 90 degrees outside.

    hmmmm...

    old prop maybe?
    wear ring?

8100 is perfect, if it stays 8150 then your on the limiter, and may need to add some pitch. Wear ring should be checked for wear/ grooves regularly anyways.

    What year is the ski?

2005. Yeah I can see a lil bit of light come through the pump where the wear ring is at... hmmm looks like a winter project cleaning everything up.
