Dealer meeting isnt for another month.....But I can tell you that there MAYBE a new entry level, but they arent sure if they are going to release it since Yamaha failed to deliver anything new and cool so BRP may sit on it for another time....

A cheaper entry level ski would be cool. That would prolly introduce more people into the sport as most people don't really like the idea of spending $8K+ on a ski.
Most people I know would love a a ski, but simply don't want (or have) that kind of money to get into the sport.
And yeah, I know there's used skis, but used skis are scary when you don't know how people have treated them and all.

Ok I'm rambling now. Looking forward to seeing what BRP has to offer for the 2013 line up.

Personally, I'd love the idea of spending only $8K on a new ski... it's the $15K and up that's out of whack. I can rem. not too many years ago when the most you could spend was maybe $11,500.

Yeah, but you gotta remember. After a trailer and TT&L you're talking $10K for a GTS 130. That's not money just everyone has.

No doubt, Bruce. I didn't mean to imply that $8K was pocket change. Just that it's a lot easier to swallow when a top of the line BRP made will run twice that... for a water toy. Actually, it's kind of depressing... But you gotta pay to play. So, it's really just a matter of how much you want to play.

PWC's do not require cats this year and there is no plan for them THIS year...All BRP sport boats are getting cats and some of the Yamaha sport boats are getting them....
