    2012 RXT 260 engine compressions

    Just wondering it I should be alarmed by these #s from the dealer after the first service (18 hours):

    165; 155; 150

    the 150 seems low to me, considering my 215 was 145's across the board.

    did you check it hot? with the other 2 plugs in? compression can really be all over the place, you are looking more for how close the numbers all match each other, with all 3 plugs out and a cold engine my new rxp only reads 130, i would say your good to go, also if you put a snap on guage beside a matco guage beside a craftsman guage you can still get different numbers. give er hell!!

    The dealer did it I wasn't there but I would assume they checked them cold. Original #'s were 160; 155; 150. My OP was at work w/o the paperwork so I was off a bit on the first #. So with what you said and the #s only being off by a total of 10 I won't worry.
