    2006 STX 12F Fuel Pump

Just need the fuel pump, or a good price on an aftermarket one.

I had to put a new fuel pump in my 2005 STX 12F a few months ago, and per a GreenHulk member recommendation, used the Walbro GSS342 from Summit Racing. It was about $70 (on sale) and works great.

This pump is slightly large in diameter than the stock pump. I used a muffler expander to enlarge the bracket a little.

Get the universal install kit to go with it so you will have the correct wiring connector that fits that pump.
    The Walbro's are fantastic!

I used the stock wiring harness, and just crimped-on new connectors for the Walbro pump. Pretty simple. -Greg

Yep, you can do that. Not all ski's along with their connectors are alike though, so the best bet is to get the install kit, it's only around 10 to 12 bucks more.

The install kit makes things much easier, and safer as far as I'm concerned...afterall, the fuel pump is sitting down inside the tank with all that gas and even worse, gas vapors. One mistake here could be your last.
