Is there any way to adjust the catch on a seat?
I have a 97 SeaDoo GS that I bought used and noticed on my last ride that the seat popped out of the front latch. When I had it home...I looked under the seat and nothing looked out of place. I don't see any adjustment to move the metal tongue (or whatever its called) forward to engage it more with the U-shaped part it goes under to secure it.
Anyone ever have this problem or know how to fix it? I thought maybe welding another 1" or 1.5" to it would work...but I'm no welder :P
Thanks for any advice (that relates to this problem).

There's no adjustment on the front of the seat, I think you can loosen the rear pin and adjust it front / rear and up / down if needed.

I'll have to look at that assembly when I get home. I thought I looked and didn't see any adjustment there...but I may have missed something.
Thanks for the quick reply though!

There was ZERO adjustment on it. However...the hole that the rear post goes through on the grab bar was just thick plastic...so I drilled out the hole towards the front and gained at least a 1/4". Better than nothing I suppose
