    Yamaha water spout (spray)

Does anyone have a fix to get rid of the water fountain on my Wave Venture? it usually soaks any passengers i have. Has anyone taken it off, does that cause a problem and what should be done with the hose?

Doesn't effect anything taking it off. You can fill the hole with jbweld if you remove hose completely, or install a valve to turn it off and on like in post 54

If you are in a time crunch, here's the 30sec solution. Cut the hose, slide a hose clamp on the hose, shove a tight fitting bolt in the hose, and tighten the clamp on the bolt.

Yeah, jamming a stick in the hole wouldn't have been best course of action

what exit nozzle? sorry for the questions, i am new and just need to understand. That water has to go somewhere doesn't it?
I thought about just disconnecting the hose under the cowling and letting it shoot out the back. I am still not sure how you can just plug it up and not let that water out..

The exit nozzle is where the pressurize jet comes out. You can block the spout off. Everybody does. If you just disconnect it and let it hang, it'll flop around and possibly pressure wash/sand blast the under side of the hull and leave a damaged area.

    This is an exit nozzle:
