It should work fine but you're gonna need more than 1 can. Mine took 3 cans

Ride plate. Can I use this??

It took 3 of the cheese whiz type cans for me as per Erik's instructions to make sure all voids and pockets and outlines were sealed good. Put the plate on, keep pressure on it, then start the bolts tighten them down, let the excess silicone ooze out and scrape it off smooth before it dries and wipe it down with acetone or your choice of solvent

Be sure to test fit the ride plate BEFORE adding the the silcone.....take measurements. Also, test fit the intake grate to ride plate/hull.
