Not even going to hit us in South Carolina, but the forecast is calling 9-12 footers which is like tsunami waves for us. Unless there is a day when it gets so windy the boats don't go out, the ocean is always flat calm here.

9 to 12 footers, perfect. Go out and play. We get them sort of waves in the winter here when we are really lucky. Its only dead flat once or twice a year here, always riding in the chop. Force 3 to 4 is a normal day in summer. 6 and up is good for jumping. Over an 8 without rain is air time!

The shot in my pic was about a 4 to 5.

I had some friends in Daytona beach report that the ocean on the east coast was rough to ride today.
They were all on new skis.
Newbies didn't trust themselves enough to hit the waves...

oh my god, I would love to ride those waves.. the biggest we can get out here, is rolling whitecapping lake waves..
at least now, it doesnt matter about the wind or rain.. as long as it there isnt any lightning.. im good.. not so much with a boat..

I'm riding it out. I donno about riding it. I don't really live close enough to gulf so the most action I'll prolly get is Lake Pallourde as that mutha can get choppy as hell with just a 10-15 mph wind haha.
