    Fuel burn on a RXT

How is the fuel burn on a RXT per hour?

The Ultra 250 is said to be 18 GPH.

    Any information would be great!

Without mod's is there still issues with the clutch washer?

    fuel consumption rxt and rxp

Fuel consumption at wide open throttle on an rxt is 18 gallons per hour and the rxp is 18.2 per hour. You will not have a problem with the clutch if you change with jerry"s metal washers.

On my 03 GTX SC i went 65 miles before i was on the buzzer at the 06 AWA DC Freedom ride. There was a 06 GTX LTD (same engine and hull as RXT) that was with me that had more fuel than i did. For some reason the 215hp engine gets better fuel mileage. I'm very satisfied with the mileage on my RXT. If you stay out of the throttle and cruise at about 45mph you can get pretty damn nice distance out of a tank of fuel.

On my RXT i can make a tank last a day such as spending a day waterskiing/tubing= speeds less than 35. OR i can burn a most of a tank in about 2-3 hours= Alot of WOT runs on the lake

Agreed, at mid range crusing speeds maybe 30-35 mph I could swear the RXT gets better fuel mileage than both our FX-140s and our neighbors SD Wake edition... strange but sure seems that way... very pleased with the fuel use overall, of course you start pinning it above 65 mph it goes down pretty quick!

I did a series of long distance trips on my RXP, which is the same engine as the RXT.

If you cruised at around 5,000 RPM's, which means +-45-50 mph, I got a consistent 4.5 mpg.

A buddy of mine cruising at the same speed with a GTX-DI would get almost 6.5

Pin it and all bets are off...........
