ADA Head on 951 Twin Piper
I have a twin piper XPL, (long chambers), with Novi's. The engine is 1 size over and the ski is never raced, (I'm too old now). I mainly use it for jumping in the surf and annoying RXP riders. I generally run Premium unleaded (BP Ultimate) 98 RON.
I am looking to replace the stock head with an ADA head. Can anyone tell me what size domes would be best. I was thinking of 50cc's or would 48cc's be better?
Are the ADA heads reliable?

What? No replies?
Except this one. Doesn't anyone have a modded XP anymore?

On a twin pipe XPL that is to be ran on pump fuel, I would be looking at perfecting the carb jetting/settings, tweeks to the impeller, drilled rave housings and dialing in spring pressure to suite the power band and cylinder porting-- the twins love cylinder porting. While the cylinder is off the ski, you can always skim the top of it .010" and put the stock head back on for a small bump in compression 6-7 psi. Also, the water box can be modded to get rid of the surge your ski may be seeing when coming out of a turn or excellerating from an idle.
