Just posted visual confirmation of a levee being topped a few miles SE of NOLA. I'm not saying it was breeched, but that the storm surge has topped the levee. http://hurricaneisaacinsola.blogspot.com/

Thanks. I've actually been monitoring that site since early last night. I was checking Shell Beach and the south shore of Lake P. pretty regular and watching the surge come in. Can you text me some pix for the blog?

    Edit: PS - hold on!

I am not going outside. There is a hurricane out there. No where to get out of it on a boat.

Thank you. We are good - as far as post storm results go. There are hundreds of thousands w/o power and the flooding is really bad in the overall region and into MS. I'm going to check on my office and take a look around the parish w/o being too obvious. We were under a curfew last night but I think it's been lifted - quite a few people on the road...
