Inline fuel shutoff valve ...... is it needed?

We keep our ski's at our river house and seeing we only get down there twice a month I was thinking of installing an inline fuel shutoff valve so I could shut it off and run the carb's dry for storge so I don't have to clean the carbs every summer. Both Ski's are 2004 4tec's 155hp.

I couldn't find another post about it but I may be calling it the wrong thing. If any one else has done it, pics would be great. If there is a reason not to do it, I would like to know that as well as I don't want to damage the ski's.

    4 Techs are fuel injected.
Just make sure you add some fuel stabilizer to the tank when you run your ski. No need for a shut off valve.

thanks guys. I would have spent an hour buying the fuel shut off, then spent 2 hours looking for the carbs. Thanks for the input. I should have known better. I'm not a complete noob but I sure sound like one. haha
