    RXPX hole-shot

have an 08 rxpx and seems to want to jump out of the water everytime i punch numerous times and wont stop till i let up off the throttle... and im tired of getting smoked by my buddys 215 cause im steady jumping out the water off the line! curious if it is from the 82mm nozzle and 15/22 prop combination...any ideas?

do you have the trim all the way down? When its down it WILL not jump out of the water.

If you are leaning forward with the trim down and your ski is jumping out of the water it sounds like your VTS is not working.

On closed course racing starts, you are standing up and leaning towards the handlebars before the band snaps,
Then when the starter pulls the band you hit the throttle and lean over the handlebars as far as your weight will go, and as soon as you get on plane you settle back in the seat,

With the power my ski makes I dont even have to stand up, I just sit all the way forward with trim down and nail it. When its up I sit back. Ski never "jumps" out of the water.

When you get the RXPX holeshot down its pretty hard to beat. I weigh about 170lb and can just go WOT from idle no finger F'ing needed. So, you need to just figure it out. Trim all the down, weight over the bars, Wot, sit back on the seat and hit the trim up at the same time as you are getting on plane which is just a split second.
