Where to Buy Timeserts & New Bolts
Hey fellas looking to get a timesert for my upper engine case (intake manifold bolt-6mm x 1.00) and also some 10mm longer intake manifold bolts (putting a reed spacer on). Any recommendations on where to get these from, and any specific materials I should look for (or look out for?)?

I order the timeserts and install kit from a company called Winzer.
Be sure and get the stainless inserts and stainless bolts.
They also have bolts.

If a hole was previously repaired with a Helicoil, can it be removed and replaced with a Timesert or will the hole be too large?

Yes it can be repared the timeserts are larger than helicoils Iam doing this same repair this week.

I need to repair cylinder head bolt holes. It looks like the top flange of the Timesert would stick up and interfere with the mounting surface of the head. It must not, but can someone explain why?

I did (3) of mine in the cyl. There is a tool that counter-sinks the insert into the surface.
