uh-oh. "Is my intercooler screwed?"
I just bought a 2008 rxt-x. It was running great "about 8060 rpm". I took it out for some wave jumping, and on the way back in it would only hit 7840 rpm. I took it home and started taking out hoses to check some things when I found this sludge.
Does anyone know what is happening?
I'm going to take the other stuff apart now.

I just finished removing all the hoses. everything going into the SC and intercooler seemed fine "a little oily". The plugs look brand new. The SC wheel is clean, but it seems to have a bit of play in it. I can wiggle it back and forth a tiny bit "like play between the gears", but I can't turn it by hand.
Any suggestions on what to do next?

It appears to have just been condensation, mixing with oil in the IC. RPMs are back to normal after cleaning the IC. I installed a catch can to help eliminate oil in the IC and will change the SC seal if that doesn't work.
