stock cut vs cut r&d vs out of box r&d plate

hi there guys im new to the forums but ive been browsing for a few weeks now.i have a 09 sho cruiser with just boltons intake, bov, free flow, grate goes 68ish and im interested in adding a plate for a little more top speed.i know the price differences between the different plate setups but im more interested in knowing what setup is better for the money.i mostly ride in sweetwater lakes and from the bits ive read here and there the r&d is worth about 1-2mph stock cut plate about 2-3mph then the cut r&d 3-4mph.from a money to speed perspective i think the stock cut plate is the best bang for the buck but id like second opinions possibly from someone who has tried the different setups.thanks in advance.

if your interested in speed only, the jims modded VX plate is great, if your looking for handling, the farthing plate is the best bet, not sure about the riva, bit there a ton of them out there

I am assuming since he said SHO cruiser we are talking about an fx, not an FZ. The vx plate won't work on the fx. Get your stock plate modded by Jim and save yourself 200 bucks.
