What would you recommend, slight chop to smooth---> in the bays.

I didn't really like the way the Riva plate handled at first. Took a bit to get used to. I would not go that route again, but that's just personal preference.

I run a Speedfreeks modded plate and I have a been very happy with it. Handles great in all water conditions rides higher out of the water.

Ive had both Jims and Speedfreeks and Speedfreeks is the best IMO. Im still using it at 90+MPH even though my ski is open loop. Id say Eriks plate is a solid 1mph faster than Jims and stays planted better on speedruns. Whats the biggest difference in going from a modified closed loop plate to a Riva plate? Anyone know?
