    2009 Ultra 260 Pump Mod

My ski has 23 hours on it and runs great. This winter I want to get my pump updated to the new set up. Where is the best place to get this done? Any idea on prices?
    Thanks JM

    This should be good.

My dealer said 3.5 hours of labor and about $200 in parts. I'd like to know what the book labor rate is for this replacement. Of course my dealer who has sold dozens of these has never heard of this issue and contacted Kawi which said the same. My dealer is even the Dustin Farthings sponsored dealer group.

Well your dealer is also bending you over stating it takes 3.5 hrs. It takes longer to take the pump out then change the bearings. It's. A 1 hr job. Maybe 1.5 if u stop for lunch. And there is no way in hell Kawi said they have not herd of pump failures so ether your lying or your dealer is.

2-2.5hrs in a workshop to do the job correctly would be a fair price. i agree with tommy for quicker but im being fair, theres a bit in preperation.

What's the approximate parts $? My dealer had several items listed that totaled out to over $200. Are these all Kawi oems parts or are there aftermarket parts or kits available?
