aquatrax burning oil?
Hey, i got an aquatrax f12x and it took like 1 quart for a ride of 4-5 hours... i might had water in my oil before i took it... could this be the reason why it took so much oil?
also the oil is a lot dark... not sure what type of oil is in there since i bought it like this...... it was super clear before the ride... ?
water in oil is the cause or a leak or burning?

water in oil wont cause it to burn, only go up in level. If you have water in it the oil will look like milkshake. oil burning is rings or valves and water in oil is because of headgasket, cracked block, or cracked head.

alright, water in oil seems ok... I guess i have a leak somewhere since i have a good amount of oil in the hull... is there any hose that are known to crack? or something
The ski is running great otherwise...!!

took it in the back ... today the oil level was ok at the same place after my ride
still there was some oil on the side of the ski on the water... could it be leaking from somewhere ? from the jet pump?

Ur belge pump works thru ur pump so if theirs any oil water in hull it will pump it out the pump. Theirs many possibilities for ur oil leak u will have to tell us where its coming from.

Yea, im actually trying to find it.. :s! could it be because the ski went to vertical from 3 people on it? i just dont know.. the level didnt changed for 2 ride, than my uncle use it with 2 other people he come back and the oil is super low...
the 2 time he made the ride ... two times lack of oil.. Dont know wtf hes doing with the ski but *!"/)!$

Also check your oil filter and make sure it is tight.
