How efficient is your intercooler? check this out!

I made this video today with my guys, and aloud the intercooler to heat soak for 5 minutes before adding water to get temp up inside core. This should give you a good idea of how a good core works when it gets lots of heat. Water temp entering was 68 degrees. I will post a new video this week of a cheap core to show differences.

There ya go. Cant argue with that since u have it all laid out for everyone to see. You just set the standard the rest of the group needs to follow.

Awesome. These are 1k units to or $500 dollar ones??

Very cool vid and will have to give that a try next week. Obviously with no restriction on the outlet side and being freeflow this will be very easy for the IC to reduce temps, backpressure plays a large part of the overall effect. Vspec and I do it on skis verses the exhaust of a truck but you now have my curiousity up. Give it a try Monday or Tuesday.

BTW look into a new welder or contact us for certified welding at very low cost.

    Thanks,
    Duke

Keep in mind with the exhaust it moves much slower then the turbo or supercharger do, remember that the move in the speed of mach and this test did not it was much slower and caused more heat soak to the core.,
