Does this code appears with the engine shutt? Does it start? Not sure but I slightly remember us putting the buds or the MPEM programer to this RFI's with the engine shut and only the dess on to power the system and having a code similar to that. Meaning that one of the modules can't comunicate with the other (bosch one and the MPEM) If it is It will clear once the engine is start. Not so sure but guys please correct me if wrong.

    hope this helps.

the fault code is always present, it doesnt effect the riding of the ski but the red "maint" light keeps flashing which is annoying!

could this fault code be caused by excessive current draw from the starter motor during starting? my big end bearings where gone which ultimately caused an engine seize, this meant the engine was hard to turn over.

You are using BUDS or Candoo to diagnose. Can the code be erased?
