Easy Battery & ECU access
Man the Battery and ECU are so simple to get too. If ya need to jump the battery its right there in the hood. So Simple.

Skip, Is there a drain hole under the battery? In my RXT the first thing i did was pull the plug out of the drain hole in the front compartment and toss it. I'd rather have any water that gets in there while riding just go right into the bilge and tossed overboard. I would think/hope Kawi has already put a hole in there. I also drill a few 1/4" holes in the bottom of my glove box. I'd rather have any water that might get in there drain into the hull than stay in there soaking my stuff. Just a thought.

You can see the black plug, you can just pull it out. I think?

Like i said on my RXT i pulled it out and tossed it the day i got it. With my GTX i was ignorant to think the front compartment was "waterproof". I rode in some serious surf coming into the OC inlet one day and had the ski submerged over and over again trying to get through it. When i stopped to wipe off my glasses with a dry shirt i noticed i had about 2 gallons of water in there. Would pulling my plug have kept my shirt dry? No. But it would allow all of that water to just go into the bilge and right out of the bailers. From then on i had no drain plug in the front compartment.
