    Gps/fish finder install questions

I am installing a Lowrance mark 4 soon. Will my stock battery handle it? Or do I need to install a second? If I add a battery can I wire them so they will charge off the engine. I need help. I'm new to the ski thing

I would probably find an accessory wire so power is only supplied when the engine is running. Does the gps/fish finder have a battery so you can still use it with the engine off?

yamaha has a double hull so you will need to cut a hole in the inner hull so you can mount the transducer next to the hull that is in contact with the water.....dont get any air bubbles in the epoxy when mounting

I am looking at doing the same thing on the same ski. How did you make out? Any advice? How did you mount the ducer?
