Intake Manifold upgrade pictures and Boost gauge install pictures

I thought I would post some pictures of what it takes to install this... I would suggest to let a professional do it as it is pretty involved and you really need to know how to do it before you start. I am lucky to have Tron doing the work... Here are some pictures of my install in progress.
The red switch is what I used for power to the Dynotune boost gauge... It is lighted and was easy to do and looks super cool...
Again I have to really thank TRON (from GH board) for doing 99% of it for me... I will post my results with the intake upgrade and numbers for the boost later today!

I will post numbes after I get them later today!

Things to notice if you want... I had to zip tie my 4 inch fizzle kit off to the side so it didn't "pinch" my boost gauge line off... I choose to install the switch because it was hard to know what wire to connect the switched power lead to... It said purple with a stripe? but didn't find it so I thought a switch was cleaner and cooler anyway! for newbie's (like Me) the upgrade is taking out the "filter thing"... Used the supplied hole saw to cut a hole to remove it. that is what is bent and standing on the work bench... It has a port for a boost gauge or RRFPR... I used it for a boost gauge...

This is a pretty involved install in my mind. I don't know much about motors and would not try this on my own as there is alot of items to remove to get this done!

Not sure on the hole saw size... I'll find out and let you know... (I think it is still at Tron's house...) Well my boost numbers are 10.1 to 10.2 at WOT 8060 RPM... I did gain about .5 to .75 mph by doing the intake upgrade to my ski... I feel it was worth it if you have someone to put it in for you... Now having the boost gauge is pretty cool too... (looks great at night at 75mph!) But it is really easy to see durring the day with the blue back lighting... When off it reads -.01
(Common for that from what I read)

Hope this helps or shows other newbies what it is...

Does 10.2 boost lbs. sound right for a 09 RXP-X stock charger at 8060 RPM???

Thanks, I'm thinkng of adding an XX charger but doing the valve upgrade and charger at the same time is spendy, and I'm not sure how much I will gain for the investment???
