Angle bearing on RXTis255 pump
I was in the process of changing the wear ring and impellerand was at the stage of removing the nose cone and was hit by the worst smellever. There was a heap of water trapped inside the nose cone which has made mybearing sound like someone on roller skates (like dry bearings). What is the normal process herejust replace the bearings or everything associated with them? Are there anytricks to making sure no water gets inside the nose cone to begin with? Do Ihave to use pump grease or will a high grade marine grease do the same job?
