RXP Skat Trak 160mm pump adapted to FZR??

Would fitting a Sea Doo Skat Trak RXP pump in an FZR require the same adapters (like what philip_gpr sells) as fitting a factory RXP pump? I'm planning on putting a SD pump in anyway, but there's a Skat Track pump for sale that I'm interested in trying out as long as it would fit the same as a stock RXP pump. If it only requires shortening my shaft or something like that, I'd still do it.

    Anyone know?

Forgot to mention, the pump in question is a set back pump.

yes, it would bolt on to a rxp just like the oem pump would, the mating surfaces dont change, so on a fz you would just need the adapter to bolt it up, now the shaft may be another can of worms... but, ted thompson can make you a custom shaft if needded for around ~ $400

They already make a pump for the FZR that has the same characteristics as the sea doo pump. IE 160mm set back, Julio...

I know, but it's around $2800. There's one for a Sea Doo going in the classifieds for $800. So even if I have to put another $1400 worth of adapters, custom shaft, etc, It's still a better deal.

I hate to see people walk of a cliff blind folded. DO NOT buy the Skat pump. If you did go seadoo route (meaning a adapter and d. shaft) go oem seadoo pump handsdown. I wouldnt buy the skat pump for $20. jmo
There alot of do's and donts when going the seadoo route...

no problem, if your goal is eliminate cavitation you can do it no problem with your oem pump and the right setup, if your mods are a R3 with a B1 and a rev limiter of 8450 it can easily be done..
