Complete teardown and rebuild on 03 xlt 1200
This is a ski I bought a two weeks ago. The second pic you see is exactly how I bought it. I knew it was going to need a complete teardown and rebuild from the bottom up....
This is where I stand... Looks nice right???????????? Now I have to deal with this!!! I removed the the entire block the first night, since the stinger and top-end were already removed.
I've got a couple replies on another post ("What happened to this Piston") to get a btter idea of what happened, but still not 100%. ANY AND MORE HELP WILL BE GREATLY APPRICIATED. THANKS!!!!!

I removed the exhaust manifold and PV's from cylinder jugs a few days ago, I noticed some signs of damage on the PV on the failed piston???????.....
By the way.......What ever happened, it broke of the lower cylinder jug skirt as well!!! Ill post a pic of it later. here is the 1200 hanging around

I'm doing a tear down myself. Believe it is because oil wasn't getting to one of the cylinders and seized it. I'm sure I need a new Crank or Piston.
Do you know where you can get a good step by step on how to tear the engine down for removal?

Either oil line came off or carbs are plugged up.
