    Big Twin

What do I really need to build a big twin?
A 777 Crankshaft is on the list
I have an extra 700 crankcase. Do I just have it cut or do I get a 777 crankcase? Meaning is there any porting or performance difference between the two?
Which jugs do I use? The 777 jugs or the MSX 140 jugs? If I go with the MSX jugs what heads do I need and will the exhaust manifold fit these cylinders?
Do I need to run the liquid cooled flywheel cover or is that just needed on the big triple?
I'm not looking to do any radical porting or outrageous compression. I just want to start collecting the parts I'll need (no big hurry)to build a big bore twin that will run reliably.

beat ya too it i just picked up a set of 777 cases ,2 -777 crank cores and if you go with MSX cylinders you'll need to bore out the 777 cases to i'm going to use a set of ported 1200 cyliders that are bored out to 85mm and i just ordered the b pipe adapter today and i'll be getting a new b pipe in a month or so and i'm gonna run vforce reeds with polaris race intakes and a set of 46mm carbs not sure which type i'll use yet with a newer stator and recurved cdi

Sounds great when you get it all done send it over for testing in my extra Hurricane hull. 85mm puts you at 794.5cc's How does one build the big 900's? Sled jugs from a fussion or something?
