    another 2000 slh no fire

    good day all.,

    i have been reading the forums for the last 2 weeks tring to get my ski running but i need help so now i am posting.

    ran fine last time out. go to start it and no fire from plugs.i have changed the coil pack and spark plug wire still no luck. the 2 black and white wire that come from cdi to coil pack shows no reading from tester. but before i go trying to find a cdi i was hoping there is something else i try tomake sure that is the problem. the cdi part number on ski is 4010380. thanks for you help and you can call me as well pm me for number. located in savannah ga

    Did you check your battery voltage while cranking. MUST be 10.6 volts or higher, or you will have no spark.

    Yes over 11.6 new battery

    Check volts on the red/pur going into the CDI while cranking- Check volts on brown wire to stator while cranking

    I have no clue what i did but i have fire and running good. P/R wire had 11.5 b wire had 9 battery had 11.68 when cranking
    12.67 not cranking

    Is the red/pur wire still attached to the red/pur terminals on the board ?
    These CDI's did have a habbit of staying "a sleep"-disconecting power wire would reset it.

    Yes in the red/purple on the board reads 12+ volt not turning and 11.5 turnning.
