    Virage TXRTX

looking into a rotax 215 swap into a 700 virage hull.can a aftermarket fuel supply setup be used pulling from 2 feeds from the tank.does the seadoo gauge cluster have to be run or could i possible run the polaris gauge with a tach feed from the seadoo.will the polaris pump setup feed enough cooling water for the motor.is an aux line needed for the intercooler.

I would think you could get a tank from a TXI and use an electric fuel pump in that.

you mean the fuel pumps that have the regulators fall off?rather run external and use the stock pickup and guages if it will work

Yes you can use external fuel pump. You do not need the cluster but it is the only gauge that would work with the CAN based communication the doo uses. No you cannot use the Polaris display for any of the doo parameters. Yes the Polaris pump feeds plenty of water for cooling.

o'kay,so the only polaris functions of the gauge setup would be the tach and an over heat warning.a sender set to trip at a certain temp could be used for the warning light and maybe just a seperate temp sending unit.really just interested in wether the polaris tach could be used, otherwise the polaris gauge cluster would be a big fuel gauge and an inaccurate speedo.the 215 spins around 8100 rpm right?should be able to push the virage to somewhere around 73 mph.

o'kay some progress.so maybe a txi tank with the s/d pump fitted into it and the s/d gauge cluster.that leaves me with no speedo as the msx stuff uses the paddle wheel setup but the virage doesn't.any headway on running a polaris pump with the 255 setup dart??
