    94 sl 750

So i checked out a al 750 yesterday in the water but on the trailer cause of no tags. Started right up and ran for about 10 min. Smoked a decent amour for about a min the calmed down but still smoked a little. Gave it some gas and it didn't bog.. actually pushed the SUV forward some. Shut it down and checked the heads for overheard and all pretty cool to touch.

Pros: From what I could see it has triple fuel pump, after market flame arrestors, selector switch changed, Ngk plugs and wires, after market bildge pump, after market ride plate, stainless steel impeller and after market throttle. Ski comes with title and trailer in good shape.

Cons: Missing intake grate (not sure why), trim not working, mfd has random lines that show up but can't read, slight water leak coming from trim motor seal and I think the bolt hole from missing intake grate.

Also comes with spare complete motor and seat.

    $620 is the asking price...
    Is this a good deal?

    I would appreciate any feedback!

I would buy it yes. The issues it has are easy to fix.

+1 Especially if it comes with the trailer.... But... No tags? Why? No Title? Is this a concern? $620? Kind of an odd number.... I'd ask why $620 and what the owner knows about the ski.... Just trying to flush out an illegal sale.

He took it on a trade 6 months ago and never did the registration. It has a title. I've been talking with the seller for over a month. Looked at the ski once and he showed me the title. Not sure why the $620 but he just brought it down from $800. He is tired of it sitting at his place. I offered him $525 and he said no. Just trying to get some extra out of the deal.

Its a good price for what sounds like a good condition ski with a full spare motor, and a trailer? Is the title in his name?

You can part it out for that much or more, so it's easily worth that much money. Did you do a compression test?
