300X Recommendations for the aggressive rider - maintenance etc

See many new riders and a few new racers on this site:

This might help the aggressive / "hard on the craft" offshore riders (we just made a few updates to the conclusions page): http://pwcoffshore.com/Kawasaki_ULTRA_Page.html (For those that are new to the site, we tracked our rides after almost every ride during the first year of ownership)

PWC Maintenance tips for ocean riding: http://pwcoffshore.com/PWC_Maintenance.html

    Hope this helps, enjoy

Since you failed to mention the two most important things to do and check I'll add them here for you.

    1. Check valve clearances every 10-20 hrs or after every hard race
    2. Do leak down check every 10hrs or at the same time as your valve clearance check along with your compression test. If You change your oil every 10 hrs It seems prudent to take the extra steps to insure your ski stays running.

    Your welcome.

great thing to do - if you are not overly technical, just suggest you have a qualified person / technician do it - should take appox / about 1.5 to 2 hours
