    GP1300r ride plate removal surprise

Anyone have any suggestions on how to repair this area of the hull? The pump tunnel itself is solid with no defects the only area that has any issues is where the mounting inserts were pulling out of the hull.

MarineTex would work good for that.

Wow! I wonder how that happened!

On my ski the previous owner apparently didn't know the difference between thread pitch, he pretty much ruined two of the brass ride plate boss's.

    Good luck with the fix.

If you are going to all that work I would think you would want to use an epoxy resin?

I have looked into West Systems vs Marine Tex to do the repair and I seem to think that Marine Tex should handle what I am trying to do. If I am able to fill the holes completely then put the ride plate back in place and drill through the hull to refasten it should work out. What do you guys think will this work?

You definitely also need to install a 305Coco Pump Tunnel Reinforcement (available in the Green Hulk store)
