SLASHER, I just went thru the gauges on both my ski's. When I took my gauge out and tilted it a little forward I had about 8 or 10 table spoons of water in them. I drilled a hole on both sides where the besel clips on and used a little air pressure to blow the water out, but after a few days the gauges looked like blue ink had been spilled on them. I think it was from using the air pressure. If I had to do it again I would drill a hole in the middle of the gauge on the back where it leans back as it sits mounted. To let the water seep out.I split one of my gauges open but didn't get any pictures. You would have to be careful about your drill depth. I have the other gauge I can split to post pictures of. I believe if you can get a way to let the water drain out the gauges, they would be fine even if they leak thru the lens. Its the water build up that kills them. At about $550 a ski for new ones there should be some kind of fix.

you should try some other way to dry it because too much sun its bad for the ink in it and the numbers start fading ..happened to me
