under the steering base..... its what the cable attaches to

I have compete x steering on my 05 rxt.
The cable has to be extended all the way come close to being straight in the back.
Basically at the end of the threads and i don't like it that way.
I have tried everything to get the most travel out of the cable and is still maxed out.
Would this help fix that issue?
If not can I get a longer extension be bought that goes on end of cable that connects to the steering nozzle.
My ski also has the X vts. Not sure if that is my problem and don't have the correct extension for steering.
