Thread: impeller repitching

hi guys i have an 04 rxp with the solas impeller (the one recommended for it with some upgrades the model escapes me at the moment) i also have a fizzle external intercooler riva s3 supercharger x injectors and riva rear air intake. Right now temperatures are around 80 degrees id say the water is still pretty close to that (still feels warm dispite some colder nights lately) anyway on my gps today i only hit 73.1... im actually still on the lake so it might be hiher before the days over... ill report back). So 73.1 and rpms areconstant around 7800-7850. So I need to repitch my timer to bring the target rpms up to 8100-8150. How many milimeters should I take off the pitch do you guys that bk to achieve my desired result? Sorry for any mispelling typing on the forum via mobile sucks!

So 1mm would bring me at 8000. I should go for 2mm then. keeping in mind of course that as the water temperature drops later in the year it will probably be on the rev limiter...
I did get 74 mph again by the end of the day when the tank was almost empty. Still, I should see more then that if I get the rpms up I should be 76-77 or a little higher at least I'm hopeful. I do have the riva intake grate though, I'm sure it's scrubbing my top speed and I'm not real sure I notice any better hookup it's a mad jumper in just about any wake!
