    2007 Ultra 250 high idle

My ultra is running at idle between 1900 to 2100 on idle, no codes and the gas is fresh and I just changed the plugs for T/S.

not sure if your model has the steering sensor, but if it does, you should try unplugging it. my STX had a high idle, I unpluged the steering sensor, and now it idles perfect on the trailer. Just have to test it on the water this weekend. Worth a try !

I tried the the unpluging the off-steering connector that didn't help and when I did the ISC check it was silent so I pulled it and metered it and it was off so I'm figuring thats my problem but its a 170. part. What manifold plug are you talking about Sir Breakssalot?

Did you unplug the correct white connector? The steering sensor has a black wire on the back of it that leads to a black magnet.

    From the service manual :

Clean the mating surface of throttle body and ISC actuator
    (stepping motor).
    •Replace the O-ring [A] with a new one.
•Install the stepping motor [B] and tighten the screws [C].
•Install the ISC actuator [D] and tighten the bolts [E].
    Torque - ISC Actuator Mounting Bolts: 4.9 N·m (0.50 kgf·m,
    43 in·lb)
•Route the harness and tighten the bands correctly (see
    Appendix chapter).
•After installing the ISC actuator, check the Smart Steering
    System Operation in the water.
    ISC (Idle Speed Controller) Inspection
•Check idle speed with a tachometer in the multifunction
    meter.
○With the engine idling, open and close the throttle lever.
    Idle Speed
    Standard:
1 300 ±100 r/min (rpm) -both in and out of
    water

If the idle speed is within the standard, the ISC operates
    properly.
If the idle speed is out of the specified range, inspect the
    audible operation.
•Run the engine and then stop the engine.
•Certain buzzing and humming sounds will be emitted from
the ISC [A] after the engine stop.

If the ISC sounds, inspect the ISC resistance.
If the ISC does not sound, replace the steeping motor.

Also- here is a cheaper price for the ISC: http://www.powersportsplus.com/parts...1174-0555.html

Make sure the stop on your throttle body has not moved not allowing it to go down to the correct idle. That or some other cable adjustment could be the culprit also.

Replaced the isc and the idle went right back to 1400 +/- 50 but I think I cold fouled a plug because its idleing rough. Sorry it took so long to post but life just gets in the way of fun sometimes
